  The college has been establishet at the behest of common people of Dhaniakhali and beyond in the year 1976 under the leadership of Sh. Kalikrishne Banerjee, son of Sh. Jnanendra Nath Banerjee, the father of Dhaniakhal. This is one of very few (if not only one) of its kind in India which has started with Science, Arts and Commerce streams from the very first day of its commencement. This got a very promosing start, but now it is no exception of contemporary village college environment.

  I have completed my graduation from this college.In the ground of this college there is a big tree called "THETULTALA". This is a famous place for the lovers.
