Comments

  • The fort was founded by the Yadava dynasty, was invaded by Allauddin Khilji. The pillars on the peripheri of the temple courtyard are Hindu, the dome over the temple sanctum is Islamic- a clear conflict of cultures. Post independence- the structure was converted into a secular spot to avoid any controversy.
