The Institute prepares officers of Russian Federation FSB on the basis of secondary (full) general education units of the border and the border troops of FSB.


a) speciality: law; qualifications: lawyer;
specialization: management of service-combat units
border authorities, organization and implementation of border control, tracking the activities of the operational units of the border authorities, the Office of intelligence and military special operations units of the Federal Security Service,

b) specialty: radio engineering; qualification: engineer;
specialization: exploitation and application of special means of mining and
clearance and maintenance of technical facilities of the State border protection-means an alarm service, maintenance and repair of technical means of protecting the State border of technical border control, maintenance and repair of technical means of protecting the State border-surveillance technology of border troops.

Distribution on specializations done after the 2 or 3 course duration of training: 5 years. At the end of each student is given a diploma of the State sample and assigned to the military rank of "Lieutenant". Graduates of institutions are sent for service in all regions of the Russian Federation.
