Departement Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science (FMIPA) Brawijaya University is one of the excelent institute which build and dedicated to conserve tropical biodivesity through education, research and community support development. The department was established at 1986 and recently have 32 staff. More than 80% has hold Ph.D from Indonesia and overseas university (Japan, France, Germany, Australia), leading the department is one of the fascinating department in research and education. Recent research interest including food security, ethnobotany, ecotourism, tropical edible mushroom conservation, dry agriculture and land conservation, water resources conservation, molecular taxonomy of tropical plants, etc. We welcome to cooperate in research and education in numerous field study, particulalry in order to enhance tropical biodiversity conservation program.
