West Cemetery was opened 30. september 1902 and have been extended several times in the 1900 century. up to year 1980. The semetery is located on the propertys Volvat, Møllerløkken and Nedre Borgen ("side by side" to The Frogner Park), and today it is the bigest sementery of Norway with 243 daa.
