  • Tokyo home of the Hattori Family. K. Hattori (服部時計店, Hattori Tokeiten) was an import clock and jewellery shop founded by Kintarō Hattori in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan in 1881. Later, as Seiko, it became one of the world's largest watch companies. The store began to produce clocks in 1892 and watches in 1913 under the name Seikosha. It was transformed to a company K. Hattori & Co., Ltd. in 1917, renamed Hattori Seiko Co., Ltd. in 1982, Seiko Corporation in 1990, and Seiko Holdings Corporation as of July 1, 2007.
