university, building

The administrative and office building for the East-West Center. Some of the offices are rented out to the University of Hawaii, but the EWC is actually an agency of the State Department of the Federal Government. One of three area centers set up under President John F. Kennedy, its budget was slashed under Clinton, and its activities are a shadow of its former self in the eighties and early nineties.
