Although often mispronounced, Soo-fray, is one of the oldest French ports on Saint Lucia. Accessible by boat and car alike, this town is picturesquely located near the grand Pitons. If you visit Saint Lucia you must visit Soufrière, and all the wonderful Creole influences that go with it. You might even find some reminance of the past Empress of France, Josephine Bonaparte.
