Mainly Books, established in 1988, has been at its current location a few kms from the Centre of Perth since 1992. It is a general second hand bookshop covering most areas. As well as a wide range of hardback and paperback fiction and crime, it has good collections in philosophy, poetry, plays, jazz, film, Australiana, Western Australiana, Judaica, lierature, the classics, art and science fiction. Older books are carried but there is no pretence to be solely an antiquarian bookshop.

Stock is now over 35,000 books. The proprietor, Josephine Moore, has been with Mainly Books since shortly afer its establishment. Jo's husband Dennis is also sighted from time to time. Service is friendly, assistance is given with book searches and prices are reasonable.

We are open every day from 10am to 5pm. Cash is paid for books or you may take credit.
Libraries and deceased estates may be assessed in the home.

Credit card facilities are available.
