Walker Pond is a relatively large fresh water pond near Eggemoggin Reach. Ice was formerly cut from the pond in the winter and stored for shipment in the summer. Remains of the docks from which the ice was shipped can still be seen on Eggemoggin Reach adjacent to Walker Pond.
