Sloan Peak, elevation 7835 ft./2388m, is a challenging, Matterhorn-like alpine summit that rises in the North Cascades west of Glacier Peak. Sloan has an easily recognizable, dagger-shaped summit spire. A popular climbing route on Sloan is called the Corkscrew Route.
