It includes the mosque building, the College of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Studies, the courtyard and ablution areas, parking lots, and green spaces. The college building consists of three floors and includes twenty-five classrooms, in addition to prayer halls, libraries, and meeting rooms. The president's directives in building the mosque stipulated that the Yemeni architectural character must be preserved, especially in the minarets and stone facades, and the Great Mosque of Sana'a was the main inspiration for the engineers in this.

  • President Saleh spent more than 100 million US dollars to build the Mosque, all from his own money,, Poor Ali Saleh, How can Allah accept prayer in this Mosque, انفق الرئيس صالح اكثر من مائة مليون دولار في بناء المسجد، كل ذلك من امواله الخاصة، يا له من مسكين.... هل يتقبل الله الصلاة في مسجد النفاق؟؟؟؟؟؟؟ الله يجيرنا
  • Our dear president spent over $100 million to build that mosque (from a reputable source). Naturally, if you know how he works, most of that money went into his, friends, and cronies pockets. It is smart for him to do this though, because unlike other structures which can be razed to the ground, this mosque will stand tall long after Ali's blunder as president is over (soon enough).
  • if the corrupt president make corruption in building this Mosque, then he had made and earn and will go to his own grave, but the Masjid the Home of Allah Subhan Taala is for ever till the day of end, You all who commented earlier should think constructively not destructively, You should fill the Mosque with Prayers and for the work of Spreading Islam,
