Abd al Kuri Island

Abd al Kuri is one of the islands of the Socotra Archipelago it belongs to Yemen. Administratively it falls under the Hadhramaut Governorate. The Island is situated between Socotra and Somalia. Its area is 133 km2. Kilmia is the main village with an estimation of 300 people live in the three main villages of the island.

The Island derives its name from the Portuguese name Abedal Curia.
