A welcome as warm and bright at the Museum’s rich yellow exterior awaits those that make the effort to discover this delightful attraction, just outside the Old Town. The courteous staff will kindly ask you to sign in before bidding you stroll around the museum’s three floor building, where treasures such as handicrafts, carvings and tapestries Old Galicia are exhibited alongside artifacts and traditional clothing from Lower Silesia (Dolny Slask). Of particular interest to history buffs are the moving accounts (thankfully translated into English), of the great resettlements of the Poles after the war, many of whom were forced out of cities such as Lwow and relocated in Breslau as Poland’s boundaries were redrawn by Stalin, Roosevelt and Churchill. Closed on Mondays.
