Since its renovation in 2009, guests are able to enjoy 4-star superior service. The restaurant area at Schloss Waldeck includes the Altane bistro and the gourmet restaurant Alte Turmuhr. High importance is attached to the use of regional products.

The castle also offers an elegant bar, the Knights Hall, its own museum, a registry office and a small spa area for the perfect feel-good experience.

Sights in immediate vicinity include the castle museum, the Hemfurt Forest Canopy Path, the Wildlife Park, the old cathedral city of Fritzlar and the Kellerwald-Edersee National Nature Park.
