  • actually, SM investments already bought the whole Sta. Ana racetrack. this is where they'll construct SM city Sta. Ana. there's no update yet when they'll start the construction though.
  • i think they make SM CITY STA. ANA
  • Reasons why this place is demolished: 1) The game they play here is an act of gambling. 2) SM Prime Holdings wants to demolish all racing parks, for the safety of the youth. That's why SM San Lazaro sits on the former San Lazaro Hippodrome in Santa Cruz, Manila, along with Celadon Residences. 3) People complains about this place because of noise during nighttime, especially when they sleep.
  • these racetracks as well as the pandacan oil depot should really be located somewhere else, preferrably outside metro manila, in the neighboring provinces. however i think the best thing to be put in their place are open spaces like parks, plazas and playgrounds with a lot trees and vegetationj so that the city would have natural air filters and purifiers that would give out oxygen while taking in CO2. enough with these malls which also gives out a lot of human waste and pollutants as well as making the city feel more cramped... not to mention the traffic congestion it will produce. do we really need more jobs more than we need a healthier environment.
  • Well... it shouldn't be demolished the entire building. It is art deco so to speak, it should have been made into a football field than a mall.
  • Just like many other of its art deco contemporaries, it sadly gave way to development and commercialization. As for being a football field, it is a private property which the owners chose to turn into something more profitable than that, owing to the high value of the property being located only 3 kilometers away from the Makati CBD.
  • they demolsihed i think this si old..
  • this must be a olympic stadium for olympics but they need more bigger
  • ALI has also announced new development projects in Metro Manila including its planned entertainment complex in what was formerly the Sta. Ana racetrack.
  • Makati to have football field, skate park this year http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/sports/01/09/13/makati-have-football-field-skate-park-year
  • This will generate job for the people of former Sta Ana now covering two to three Makati Barangays. More Power to Circuit Makati
