  • Is it true that a moderate accommodation is coming up at Sabuj Dweep? I visited many time at Sabuj Dweep during picnic season and even in summer to get delicious mangoes. All the time I felt that if there could be an accommodation for night stay but could not find one. Even there is probably no night accommodation between Bandel and Kalna. Actually there are many famous old terakotta temple one can find here, the village is truly green and Sabuj Dweep will always attract tourist a large part of the year. One can visit Guptipara, Kalna, Bandel, Bansberia mainly to see Temples/church.Date juice also add attraction at the time of winter. It is only 75 kms from Kolkata and well connected with Rail track. One can visit both from Smra bazar/ Balagarh station. So when I came to know that a moderate accommodation is coming up here I am sure that it will be one of the hot weekend accommodation for tourists of Kolkata in near future.
  • We came from Govt. web site that it is going to develop Sabuj Dweep with all modern facilities. It will be in PPP model, but I doubt that whether tourist from all spheres can enjoy the same? Actually if a major group take up the project it will be costlier for 'aam admi', so what Raja Da stated that a moderate accommodation is going to coming up soon at Sabuj Dweep , is more adorable to general people in every respect. Hope we will get the night facilities near Sabuj dweep at the earliest possible time.
  • We visted Sabuj Dwip some years back for a office picnic. The place is amazingly beautiful and we visited sukharia village in search of old temples as well as authentic molasses. It was a green peaceful village and quite calm. I previously came to know that Govt. of West Bengal is planning for Sabuj Dwip tourism. I also heard that Speed boat services will be operational from December 2014 and tourists can enjoy both Bandle Church, Hooghly Imambara, Hanseswari Temple, Kalna and as well as Nabadwip and Mayapur. It has ben also learnnt that Sabuj Dwip will be a terminal point of Ganga cruise. Now as per Raja Da a moderate Resort is likely to start in coming days. I hope it will be a boon for those tourist who do not have much time but want recreation and feel to flee from monotonous life of the city.
  • What Raja Da has said that a moderate accommodation is likely to be operational from Puja 2015 near Sabuj Dweep. But what I like to know that whether there will be a good place too to celebrate picnic in the season? If authority can make a good spot for arranging picnic/conference,it will be a great success.
