Royal Domain Argenteuil

The castle dates from the years Argenteuil 30 and was built for William Tuck, a senior U.S. official who in 1929 bought the domain. In 1949 the family sold Tuck Argenteuil to the Belgian Railways, and if the castle was owned by the federal government. Leopold III and his second wife Liliane Baels belandden not until 1960, under pressure from the Belgian government and Queen Fabiola. After the death of Princess Liliane Leopold lived there until her death in 2002.
