The site refers to the historical center of Chat, the Eastern Aqaba Directorate, which was established in the Turkish era in Sudan, and all parts of the White Nile and East Kordofan Directorate were administered from this place that contained the military garrison and was subjected to sabotage in the Battle of Chat in Mahdia and the killing of its leader Al-Sanjak Karar and Hamad
