On the slopes of Serra do Curral, the Mangabeiras Park is one of the largest in the Country. The Park was inaugurated in 1982 and has its landscape signed by Burle Marx. But the major part of its 2,3 milion m2 is occupied by native woods. Among a center for research and envirommental aducation, open to the community, many leisure options, an intensive cultural schedule, it is not difficult to find wild animals playing with visitors.
