Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum situated in the middle of a beautiful garden Ram Bagh is a treasure house of the history, art and architecture of the Sikhs of the 18th and the 19th century.

It is named after Maharaja Ranjit Singh - one of the outstanding rulers of Punjab. On display are a fine collection of oil paintings, miniatures, coins, weapons and arms and amours.

Dr. Hidayat Ullah, Vice-president of India, inaugurated the museum in 1977.
