El Gora Airport (ICAO: HEGR) is an airport serving the town of El Gorah, Egypt, which is 10 miles (16 km) from the border with Israel, and 13 miles (21 km) from the southern tip of the Gaza Strip. Originally known as the Elon Air Force Base, Israel handed it over to Egypt in 1982.

  • The Multinational Force and Observers (www.mfo.org), a multinational peacekeeping force established under the Egypt-Israel peace treaty, is headquartered at Al Gorah. Not sure if they use this facility, since it's a former military base, or have their own separate, secure site.
