Bill Board 'Why Do I Still Do This Every Day?'

United Kingdom / England / Rayleigh /
 graffiti, billboard, invisible

Graffiti the length of this fence used to ask drivers on the M40 into London 'Why Do I Do This Every Day?', in big white letters. After some vandalism it was re-painted green and in black letters it read 'Why Do I Still Do This Every Day?'. Recently however (Summer 2007), it was painted over and now says 'New Team Supreme', ruining the question to all those on the daily grind. I don't doubt the 'Why Do I Do This Every Day' question will re-appear and convince thousands to quit their superficial commitments ;)

  • Let us hope so. Not being a commuter, I enjoyed this message for many years. Sorry to see it's gone.
  • I used to see this every day on a miserable commute. It inspired me to give up my job, leave the UK and buy a boat to sail the world. I really would love to know who originally painted this as I owe them a beer.
