Ras Lanuf Airport is an airport in the Surt District of Libya, located approximately 227 km south-southwest of Banghazi. Its primary use is the transportation of oilfield workers from production facilities in the area.
The airfield was the scene of bitter fighting between Anti-Gadhafi rebels and Pro-Gadhafi loyalists on March 3, 2011.
