monument, obelisk, archaeological site
Originally built by Hatshepsut (c. 1479-1458 BC) and modified by Thutmose III (c. 1479-1425 BC), unlike its southern counterpart, this obelisk survives intact, in part preserved by Thutmose III's efforts to obscure these monuments of Hatshepsut.
