Jamkey is a town situated in between Sialkot city and Daska.The population of this town is about thirty thousand individual. Mostly families has a member oversea's and rest of the people works into Sialkot or Daska because of not having good job opprtunities in a small tonw.

  • My ancestors are from this Village where my father was born. I am the grandson of Late Amar Nath Sachdeva son of Late Lala Ludinda Mal and my father's name is Late Mr. Prem Nath Sachdeva and his Elder borther's name is Mr. Davinder Nath Sachdeva. It would be my pleasure to know all about this Village to which my forefathers belong. What I have been told is that my Grand Father had a huge Haveli in this Village which was jointly possessed by my Grand Father's joint family. My Grand Mother's name is Late Mrs. Puran Devi Sachdeva. My Grand Father was the youngest in his family and after partition they migrated to Delhi. My Grand Father was the highest educated person in the village and we had the Agency of Singer Sewing Machine and Flex Shoes. If any body can help me to trace the routes of my ancestors and give me some pictures of the place I will be most thankful to him. I have despite the partition have great respect for all the places and if Allah permits I will like to visit the place. Presently I am practicisng as a lawyer in Delhi.
