The Cebu White Sands is a private resort hotel located on the east coast of Mactan Island. It is only 15 minutes by car from the Mactan-Cebu International Airport and 40 minutes away from the historic island of Cebu. The resort’s 50 guest rooms are situated on a 2-hectare property carefully developed to create that perfect blend of turn-of-the-century Philippine architecture and modern facilities for style and comfort.
However, White Sands eventually had a financial problem in the middle of 2000's era, due to some internal conflict in the management. It is currently in partnership with QQ English School as their Sea Front Campus is located within White Sands Territory in partnership with the nearby JWB Hotel.

  • Stayed here from March 20 through March 31, 2007. I would not recommend, too expensive, all the food tastes like is was cooked with fish. Front Desk staff inefficient and distrustfull. You get nickle dimed here and everything is too expensive. To use the pool table they wanted 250 peso an hour, should be free but even so going rate to play pool every where else is 50 to 80 pesos an hour. Telephone charges are rediculous, costs more to call a PI Cell for White Sands than it does from the States over AT&T! Four Hour Island Hopping is 2000 Peso PER Peson, when you can rent a new local Banca Boat all day for 2500 peso and take up to 20. STAY AWAY!
  • I and my husband stayed for Cebu White Sands @ Maribago last June 6,2008 for our honeymoon and we enjoyed a lot. I begged to disagree with what Mr. Tom comment on them because that's of course no basis!!! All their staff are great! They're all hospital,food is excellent with affordable price. I don't know where he get that ridiculous comment to our rendezvous when in fact we really had a good experienced with Cebu White Sands. You can even try their breakfast, lunch buffet and their sumptuous food for dinner with back to back cultural show and serenader while dinning at the beach area.

  • This in reply to the above statement that the owner of Cebu White Sands is also the owner/developer of Paradise Village or Paradise Valley in Barili. UNCHUAN DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION is not and never has been connected with either properties. That claim is without basis since although we own a property in Barili, it is NOT Paradise Village (which by the way is located in Banilad, Cebu City and not in Barili) nor is it Paradise Valley which is located in Barili (yes, this property is bankrupt). Our Barili property is a jewel to us and it is a very EXCLUSIVE private vacation property of the owners which is the envy of those who have been privileged to be INVITED there. For sure the writer has NOT been there. It is very irresponsible to attach our name to any foreclosed or bankrupt property. Please check your information before writing about us.
