Forty foot stone tower erected 1933-1934.
Named for George Walbridge Perkins (1862-1920) the founder and first Chairman of the Palisades Interstate Park Commision. The tower served as a fire lookout cum weather station until the 1950s. Now open to the public.
Bear Mountain State Park.
Great 360 degree view from up there. On a good day you can see Manhatten.
