The former Columbia Studio Ranch is now known as the Warner Bros. Ranch Facilities and owned and operated by Warner Bros. Studios. A historically rich Back-Lot where many films and TV shows were filmed such as: High Noon, The Wild One, Cat Ballou, Funny Girl, I dream of Jeannie, Dennis the Menace, Donna Reed, Bewitched, Here Come the Brides, The Monkees, The Partridge Family and many, many more.

Warner Bros. Studios and Columbia Pictures formed a partnership in 1971 moving both companies to the Warner lot and naming it The Burbank Studios. This "studio ranch" became part of the partnership resulting in The Burbank Studios becoming one of the largest movie Studios at the time. Their merger ended in 1990 and Warner Bros. inherited the Ranch and re-designated it their Back-Lot. Columbia was bought by Sony Pictures and moved onto their Culver City studio, the former M-G-M lot.

Currently in negotiations to be purchased by the current owners of the new Burbank Studios (former NBC lot) in a cash and swap to include that studio with a reconstruction and opening scheduled for 2023.
