Possible dive site. Enter from beach to the East. Possibly the site referred to as Phil's Cave in www.americandivemaster.com/ (cave entrance at 32m) As for Phil's Crack just east of here - sediment from the Manatuto River can be a big problem. I am told the currents can be bad.

Road access is from the south-east, past two local houses. Stop and say "bon-dia, hau bele ba luku iha ne'e?" (Good morning, can I dive here?) Entry is from the Western end of the beach, 150m walk from the end of the road (at the houses). From the water to the furthest point of the dive (and the cave I think) is about 630 metres, one way.

View from East and West is spectacular (no need to leave your car) particularly during and after the wet season when the mountains are green
