Formerly known as Camp Henoko, this military facility houses the Ammunition bunkers which supply most of the pacific rim. Currently worked by the Marines of Ammunition Company, 3rd Materiel Readiness Bn, 3FSSG, and guarded by an elite group of Japanese Security Guards around the clock (except in typhoon conditions, when the Marines take over). Inherited by the Marine Corps from the US Army what was then called Camp Henoko, it was annexed by neighboring Camp Schwab and put under Marine Corps Base jurisdiction.

The Marines who work this facility live in a barracks on base. The ASP, as it is called, hosts some of the most scenic views Okinawa has to offer, with jungled cliffs overlooking the magnificent Oura Wan bay with crystal clear blue water of the Pacific Ocean.

This place was also the duty station for one Nathaniel Hale, now known as Nate Dogg, popular hip-hop artist and rapper, when he served in the Marine Corps.
