The monument has the shape of an arch, which is actually two hands that are holding up a globe on which a white dove is placed, the symbol of peace.
Monument to remember the peace agreement signed with the Touareg on 6 January 1991.

  • This is the Peace Monument. The Martyrs Monument is near the old bridge. This one is near the new bridge. The photo is correct except it cuts off the top of the monument.
