Also known as Al-aouda (العودة). This is the first residential district to be planned and awarded to citizens as a first class residential neighbourhood in Omdrman during the 1970s. Most of the plots were offered to engineers, doctors, lawyers, and military officers. Those hailing from families located in Omdurman were also given the chance to own some plots. It is one of closest Omdurman neighbourhoods to Khartoum City.
