The town of Sheikh Othman is one of the largest departments of the Governorate of Aden, Yemen and the meeting point for all directorates of Aden. Located in the north-east of the Governorate of Aden it covers a total area of (17) square kilometers and a population of 106,000 according to 2004 census.
