  • My old school 1956-1960;excellent teachers!
  • I was a student at the Technical High School from 1961 to 1964 and have some very fond memories of my time there. All that was such a long time but I am still in touch with some of the friends that I made! I did visit the school in September 1999 when I signed the visitors book!I was the school 1st X1 Cricket Captain in 1963/4, the school Cross Country champion in 1963, a Prefect in 1963 and the Deputy Head Prefect in 1964. Those were the days!!!!
  • Student from 1955 to 1958.(From Park Road primary, Mr Joshi's class) Colleagues were Saleem Dilbar Prem Ravinder Teacher was Mrs Parker Had a musical Society. Collected for a Library and Swimming Pool. I n9ow live in Calgary Canada
  • Literally lived in the school until 1967 when I completed my GCSE (Cambridge Exams) to go to uni. Dad was Hari Singh Chana who taught science at the school until I think late 70s. Dad was given the Principal's bunglow as the gora principals in those days would not live in Park Road. BEST SCHOOL IN AFRICA!!
  • Fond memories of my alma mater ... attended from 1976-79. Teachers I remember most include Darshan S. Riyat (Chemistry, also ran the photo lab and was an avid photographer), Y.D. Bannot (Chemistry), Joginder S Marjara (Metal works and P.E.), Thuo (Drawing), Zaffer U. Khan (English - preferred to kick and slap his students at will - knowingly or unknowingly), J.M Trivedi (Mathematics), Smith?? (Blond who taught Eng Literature) ... memory is failing now. All great faculty and the most memorable experience of my life. Go COGS!!! Pritpal President, Coleman University - San Diego, California, USA.
  • I was a student from 1956-1959. Joginder S Marjara was my PE teacher in Form 1. Hari Singh Chana was a science teacher but he never taught me. He was my Scout Master in 1958 and I was his Assistant Troop Leader with First Class badge. The principal was Steward. There teachers were Mrs Parker(English), Russell(English), Trivedi(Math), Harris(woodwork). Sihra(PE and woodwork). He joined the school in 1957(?) after he graudated from Teacher Training school in Nairobi. He received a scholarship and went to London for a year. There was Patel(Chemistry). He never allowed two sikh students to sit together in his class! I also taught at the school for a year or less (1968). I taught woodwork, technical drawing and Building Construction (this was new course added in school curriculum and I was teacher charge to implement it). Sihra, Marjara, Trivadi, Hogg(Principal, now lives in Toronto),Riyat(singer),Lobo(science),Sharma(science) Rana(PE), Rana(?). Chana was tranferred to an african school. Sihra and I worked on COGs.. Retired High school Teacher.
