Owned by Northern Australian pastoral Company. Alexandria, on the Barkly Tableland in the Northern Territory, is NAPCO's largest and oldest property, acquired in 1877.

The main homestead is on the Playford River with two outstations, one at Soudan on the Rankin River and the other at Gallipoli on the eastern side of the property.

One of the station's unique features is the rolling Mitchell Grass plains interspersed with ancient red sand dunes.
