Bara Ghar is one of the oldest living village of the area. Bakhu Watoo was a very rich person he made two marriages and gifted her first wife this land which was called “Bara Ghar”. The village Bara Ghar is situated 2 kilometer in east of the Bucheki Syedwala Road in district “Nankana Sahib”. The total population of the village is about 10,000. The village has one primary school and one higher secondary school for boys. It has one middle school for girls. There are two private schools (Azhar Foundation & Bhatti Ideal). It has one Government dispensary. Most of the persons are farmers but there is a large amount of businessmen also.

Baba Fath-e-Dewan is 1 saint from the chain of dewan.This chain consist of four saint from which two are in Pakistan Baba Fath-e-Dewan and Haji SHer Dewan near Buraywala.The third saint from this chai is in India whoes name also ends with Dewan and Fourth saint is somewhere in the world.
