The Arroyo Maldonado (Maldonado Creek) that comes from the west, drains here in the ocean doing what called Barra of Maldonado, that is also the name of this neighborhood. Located 20 kmts east of the peninsula was a fishing village and some houses that belong to aristocratic families of San Carlos that was the first in building the residences of summer of them in this place originally.
La Barra of Maldonado is different for it's rustic style where the rural ambient semi combined with a very good service structure. These characteristics make this ideal for a relaxed lifestyle and far away from the stress of the city.
Another attraction of La Barra it's the night life. City of bars, discos and restaurants.
