This cemetery contains a Jewish sector. Number of grave stones still show legible hebrew letters. In Polish section at least one grave displays false death date on an epitaph. After WW II, struggle ensued against implementation of Communist government. Those who died in this conflict could not have written on their graves words to the effect of " ...fallen, fighting for freedom... " with the death date after May 1945 - when hostilities with Germany officialy ceased - but internal combat continued. If family insisted on ... fallen, fighting for freedom; than death date had to be shown as prior to May 1945
