Nonnberg Abbey (Salzburg)

Nonnberg Abbey is a Benedictine monastery in Salzburg, Austria.

It was founded in about 714 by Saint Rupert of Salzburg and is the oldest women's religious house in the German-speaking world.

Filming location for the film "The Sound of Music", and the church where the actual Maria the film depicted got married.
