Ramat HaSharon is a city in Israel. It was established in 1922, and called Ir Shalom (City of Peace), and first settled in 1923. In 1932, it was renamed Kefar Ramat HaSharon. Ramat HaSharon is part of the Gush Dan Tel Aviv metropolitan area in the Tel Aviv District. It borders Tel Aviv to the south and Herzliya and Kibbutz Glil Yam to the north.
