Kaboter Chorangi | statue, monument

Pakistan / Sind / Karachi /
 statue, monument

A bronze statue of MK Gandhi's statue stood here due to the fear of being vandalised, in 1948 it was removed and gifted to the Indian Ambassador. It used to stand in the foyer of Indian Chancery building on Bonus Road. When the capital moved to Islamabad the statue too travelled there. Now it adorns the Indian Chancery there. (I don't know the reference quoted above is true or not but recently I visited the site the said site is famous as Kaboter Chorangi it means Pigeons Square)
