Former base aérienne 944, Narbonne was assigned as Control Reporting Center 05.944 with tacticall "Ricard Radar" for the eastern part of the Mediteranean. After being seriousl;y damaged in a wildfire the unit was dissolved in 1993. Renamed Détachment Air 90.115 in 1994 and reassigned as an Air Force DCS (controlling satellite detection and monitoring station) in 1998. Unit refurbished and operational in 2001 and consisting of an operational, a technical and a security section.
