Kingston Penitentiary (maximum-security) is Kingston's most notorious prison, home to infamous criminals such as Paul Bernardo. It is one of Kingston's oldest prisons operated by Corrections Canada. The prison was closed by Corrections Canada in 2014 and is now managed by the St Lawrence Parks Commission who offer tours in the summer and fall.

  • I don't know anything about my father. I only met him a few times, but I understand that he was well-liked. I'm sorry that this is where he ended. I missed not having a father. I wonder if this was one of the places where the Canadian authorities allowed American researchers to experiment on the people.
  • my daughter was murdered 3 and a half years ago and her killer will end up in this pen after evaluation at MILLHAVEN PEN. i am not one, and never been, a perrson who believes in the death penalty..as far as i am concerned, people who commit a violent crime that involves harm to another person, should go threw the same torture/pain they put toward another!!!!
