Erected from famous architect Balthasar Neumann between 1733-1745 in order of the then prince bishop of Wuerzburg, Friedrich Carl von Schönborn as sommer residence. There is a nice park surrounding the castle.
Since 1855 psychiatric clinic (makes it one of the oldest in Germany)
There is a orthopedic clinic too on the same areal.
