  • Dear Sir/Madam: Sat Siri Akal, Village Manupur in Tehsil Samrala Distt. Ludhiana is a pure village of Sekhons.
  • Someone's got their history wrong. Gobindgarh has two Jat-Sikh pattis, Sidhu and Sekhon. My ancestors, the sidhus came fro Pauri village in Bhatinda. My great-grand father, S. Bhup Singh also purchase 250 acres of land in Rajisthan(near Sadul(Matili). My paternal uncle(my father's older brother) immigrated to Canada in 1950s to study chemical engineering at University of British Columbia and went on to work for Kimberly Clark of Canada Ltd. My 2 brothers worked for B.C. govt. I have many professionals in my family: medical doctors, lawyers, police-officers etc. Gobindgarh had so much potential that we could have rivaled Badal or Maujgarh! I miss my Pind!
  • ^That should be my uncles(father's other brothers) who worked for B.C. govt".
