This Coconut Park was named when Shri(Late) Bandi Shankar Singh,Minister for Animal Husbandry & Fisheries Department, Government of Bihar and son of (Late) Shri Krisnna Sinha first Chief Minister of Bihar and an inhabitant of Village Maur in Sheikhpura District planted coconut tree here but alas! not a single coconut tree can be found in this park as all were uprooted and taken away by anti social elements.
This park is very beautiful as it has a permanent boundary wall of more than six feet height with a concrete road on every side under the boundary for the use of walkers. A concere road is also there on all sides outside the boundary.High mast power lamp post has been provided in the middle of the park. There are four entrances with iron gated in the park.Residential houses can be found on all sides outside the road of the park.
