  • The Taconic Parkway thru this park is a notorious speed trap for park rangers, of all things. As state rangers are the 'police' force in the park, they have jurisdiction over the State Police along the strecth of the Taconic that runs in the park. Keep your eyes peeled and watch your speed cause they give out large, large fines.
