Château de Balleroy

The Château de Balleroy was built in 1631 by the famouse architech François Mansart.
Boxwood Parterres and English-style park.
The Château is now ouwned by the Forbes family and he has in the top of the stables on the left hand side by the entrance a museum for Ballooning.
Each year a gathering of hot air balloon took place at the Chateau de Balleroy. This gathering took place for the last time in 1999, when Malcolm Forbes, the chateau's owner, would have celebrated his 80th birthday.
