In the inner port, the Flanders Cold Center has two large controlled temperature warehouses with a total capacity of 132,000 m3 for storing frozen meat, fish, dairy products and especially fruit juices.
Tropicana imports over 100,000 tonnes of fresh fruit juice from Florida every year, for distribution to several European bottling plants. A factory for packing fruit juices saterted operating in Zeebrugge in 2003.
